The drop wires are designed for use in extending telephone circuits to subscriber premises by means of an aerial drop from distribution wire or cables. The shape may be in oval/dumbbell shape to aid in separation of conductors.
1 - Conductor - Electrolytic solid copper (TS 2, IEC28, ASTM B3).
2 - Outer Jacket - Linear low-density or medium-density, UV resistant black polyethylene outer jacket (ASTM D 1248).
Temperature range during operation (fixed state) : -15°C - +70°C
Temperature range during installation (mobile state) : -15°C - +50°C
Minimum bending radius : 10 x Overall Diameter (unarmoured cables)
