The stranded All Aluminium Conductors (AAC) are made up of concentric-lay-stranded aluminum wires only.The conductor may be made up of 7, 19, 37, 61 or more wires in 1, 2, 3, 4 or more layers around a central wire. Each successive layer shall have six more wires than the layer immediately beneath. For a gien cross-sectional area, the conductor becomes more flexible as the number of wires is increased (with a corresponding decrease in size of each wire).
Full hard drawn temper wires are used with the wires stranded in each successive layer having an opposite direction of lay, the outermost layer being right-handed.

AAC Conductor Venus 674mm2 can be used in low and medium voltage overhead lines.It is a concentric-lay-stranded conductor consisting of aluminum 1350-H19 wires. It available in both single-layer and multi-layer constructions.
